The combination of experience as a Senator in the Australian Parliament combined with time as a CEO and Board Director in the not-for-profit sector, gives Karin unparalleled insight into the intersections of government policy, stakeholders, reputation and the commercial environment.
Karin has built a distinguished career over the last thirty years with particular expertise in the community services and education sectors.
Having served as a Senator in the Australian Parliament, Karin then developed expertise as a researcher and policy analyst before taking on prominent roles within the Anglican Church.
For over 25 years, Karin has served the Anglican Church in Sydney, nationally and internationally, including nearly 7 years as CEO of the Anglican Deaconess Ministries whilst simultaneously being a member of the Sydney Synod and the Sydney delegate to the General Synod. She currently holds a senior role as Synod Deputy Chair of Committees.
Karin serves on the board of Mission Australia and is an experienced higher education academic. She is also an expert in her specialist field of archaeology in Egypt and the Middle East
