Mia is a strong verbal and written communicator, with a background in management consulting, government, law and workplace relations.

Her career commenced with the Fair Work Ombudsman, prior to time at Bupa Australia and NZ and the University of Sydney in workplace relations and human resources roles.

This was followed by serving as a practice manager for an employment relations firm and the Attorney General’s Department working on the Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance & Corruption, before moving into management consulting focusing on organisational performance and leadership issues and opportunities.

Combining her love of workplace relations and the law with her passion for government, politics and communications, Mia’s role at APA focuses on designing effective communications strategies, issues management, and content development.
