Michael is an ALP and cross bench lobbyist specialising in technology and government procurement. 

With over 30 years in politics and media, Michael has a vast network of contacts which enable him to gain intelligence, discuss potential alliances, and match clients with the right opportunities.

The last six years he has worked with many of Australia’s largest and best known IT companies and multinationals in the area of technology, information and data.

His career commenced as a journalist in Tasmania followed by time in Queensland and the NSW Press Gallery.  He worked in Washington DC as the network’s chief correspondent during the 1996 Presidential elections, and later moved to Los Angeles as Channel 7’s bureau chief.

Politically, Michael has worked in senior advisory roles for ALP Governments in Tasmania, the Northern Territory and New South Wales. 

As an active political commentator, he regularly appears on ABC News 24 and The Drum.
