Cardiac arrest kills 30,000 Australians each year. For every minute that clicks over without help, a person’s chance of survival drops by 10 per cent.

Despite having an exceptional average response time, it typically takes about 10 minutes for paramedics to arrive. Apply some basic maths and you can see how quickly that survival rate diminishes.
